All LightBridge models come with diffraction-limited Bk7 optical glass &
Meade aluminum coatings with a magnesium fluoride overcoat for bright images
full of detail.
A 2" aluminum Crayford-style focuser with 1.25" Adapter is standard. Smooth,
precise focusing is achieved with this classic design. A unique focus tension
knob and focus lock design provide complete control over
focusing.
Every LightBridge comes with a built-in primary mirror cooling fan. Mounted
to the rear of the "vented" primary mirror cell for fast cool down.
Meade LightBridge telescopes offer more bang for
the buck!
The truss-tube design of the Meade 8" LightBridge
means this telescope will fit in most any car, and set-up/break-down is a
snap.
All LightBridge Truss-Tube Dobs come with
diffraction-limited optics and built-in cooling fan, 2" Crayford-style focuser,
and Autostar Suite Astronomer Edition Software.
Accessories include advanced 4-reticle red-dot
finder, laminated base with RA steel roller bearings, and a Series 4000 26mm QX
